Redemption Instructions and Terms of Use

At Retail Rebate Reward, it is our goal that every participant's experience is a successful and satisfying one.  The following Redemption Instructions and Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a contract between you (hereafter referred to as “you”, “customer” or “customer”) and the Retail Rebate Reward program, their owners, affiliates, agents, administrators, and assigns (also referred to as “we”, “RRR”, "Retail Rebate Reward" or “company”). Your redemption of your Redemption Code on this website, and/or your submission of receipts/vouchers to Retail Rebate Reward signifies your complete understanding and acceptance of these Redemption Instructions and Terms of Use.  If you have any questions regarding these terms, please contact Retail Rebate Reward Customer Support.  We will be happy to assist you.
 

1. Overview. Retail Rebate Reward is an online monthly retail rebate program, where you receive a rebate following registration of your Retail Rebate Reward Certificate/Reward, and redemption through proof of purchase(s), as detailed herein. The value of your Retail Rebate Reward Certificate/Reward is based on the denomination of reward you received and your compliance with the terms and process of the program. For example, if you received a one hundred dollar ($100.00) Retail Rebate Reward Certificate/Reward, you will be eligible for up to four (4) twenty five dollar ($25.00) gift cards, or substitute rewards as detailed herein, received over four (4) consecutive months, totaling up to one hundred dollars ($100.00) in total rewards based on four (4) successful submissions. IMPORTANT: For the purposes of these Terms, and as it applies to the Retail Rebate Reward program generally, and this website, Retail Rebate Reward fulfills only digital gift cards via electronic (email) fulfillment. Based on security, tracking, and customer satisfaction considerations, physical gift cards are no longer fulfilled as part of this program. All gift cards earned are electronic gift cards delivered to customers by email.
 

2. Description. Retail Rebate Reward Certificates/Rewards are not gift certificates. Retail Rebate Reward Certificates/Rewards may not be redeemed directly in stores. Retail Rebate Reward Certificates/Rewards are not redeemable for cash and have no cash value. Retail Rebate Reward Certificates/Rewards are not transferable.  Retail Rebate Reward Certificates/Rewards are not redeemable for online purchasesRetail Rebate Reward is a free program. You did not purchase your Retail Rebate Reward Certificate/Reward.  Retail Rebate Reward did not charge you anything for your reward, and never will. Your Retail Rebate Reward Certificate/Reward may not be sold.  De-activation, malfunction, misuse, or lack of redemption of any Retail Rebate Reward Certificates/Rewards does not entitle you to any refund, credit, claim, compensation, or redress from Retail Rebate Reward.
 

3. Non-Affiliation. Retail Rebate Reward Certificates/Rewards are consumer rewards. You understand that Retail Rebate Reward is not affiliated with the organization that provided you your Retail Rebate Reward Certificates/Reward, or with any program that organization may have sold to you. Retail Rebate Reward is also not affiliated with any of the retail brands whose receipts Retail Rebate Reward accepts.  Retail Rebate Reward is not responsible for anything that any third party organization or person may have told you or promised you about Retail Rebate Reward or about your Retail Rebate Reward Certificate/Reward. Retail Rebate Reward can merely honor these Terms.  Retail Rebate Reward has not billed/charged you and will never bill/charge you. You did not purchase your Retail Rebate Reward Certificate/Reward.  You cannot cancel any program which you may have accepted, on a trial or ongoing basis, return any product, complain about any program or product, get a refund, or cancel any billing you are incurring, by contacting Retail Rebate Reward, as Retail Rebate Reward has nothing to do with selling, marketing, billing, or customer service for those programs or products. Retail Rebate Reward does not provide customer service for those programs, and cannot contact them on your behalf.
 

4. One Redemption Per Household/U.S. Residents Only/U.S. Retail Locations Only. Each Retail Rebate Reward Certificate/Reward is redeemable only once, and only by the person to whom it was issued. Limit of one (1) redemption per household.  This program is intended for use in and by residents of the United States only, and for retail purchases within the United States only.
 

5. Online Registration and Printing of Materials. You must fully complete your online registration to qualify for the Retail Rebate Reward program. This includes (1) entering a valid Reward Redemption Code, (2) submitting all the data requested and (3) printing your savings vouchers ("Successful Registration"). You are responsible to print your own vouchers. Retail Rebate Reward provides vouchers in PDF format.  Retail Rebate Reward also offers a link to a free PDF program that will enable PDF printing should you not already have a program that has this capability.  Retail Rebate Reward offers an option for you to have vouchers emailed to you in PDF format, which can be printed at your convenience, and at the location of your choice. Should Retail Rebate Reward successfully provide you your vouchers in PDF format, Retail Rebate Reward is not responsible should you be unable to print your vouchers, are out of ink, or do not have a working printer.  You may print your vouchers at any alternate location of your choosing if you do not have a working printer.  Retail Rebate Reward has no obligation to honor your reward unless your registration qualifies as a Successful Redemption.
 

6. Security. For security purposes, Retail Rebate Reward records the computer IP address and redemption activity for every redemption and attempted redemption. Attempts to redeem the same code more than once, attempts to redeem multiple codes, or attempts to redeem a code not issued directly to you are prohibited and may result in de-activation of your Retail Rebate Reward Certificate/Reward and referral to our fraud department.
 

7. Registration Within One Year. You must register your Retail Rebate Reward Certificate/Reward within one (1) year of receiving your Retail Rebate Reward Certificate/Reward. If fail to redeem your Retail Rebate Reward Certificate/Reward within one (1) year of receiving it, your reward will be invalid.
 

8. Voucher Dating. Upon a Successful Registration, you will have printed your monthly vouchers. Your monthly vouchers start in the month following your Successful Redemption, so that you're sure to have as much time as possible (i.e. a full month) to collect your receipts. For example, if your Successful Redemption was on March 20, 2015, your monthly vouchers would begin in April 2015, and your April 2015 voucher would be valid for purchases made during the month of April 2015 only. This is an automatic process and cannot be adjusted, regardless of the date of your registration.
 

9. IMPORTANT: Qualified Redemptions. Because this is a retail rebate program, to qualify for each monthly retail rebate reward, you must purchase one hundred dollars ($100.00) or more (before taxes and after coupons, discounts, and returns are applied) in qualifying products in one (1) calendar month at the retail brand/store/chain/savings location of your choice.  Excluded products which are not accepted are groceries, alcohol, cigarettes/tobacco, prescriptions, firearms, firearm ammunition, phone minutes, gasoline/fuel, gift cards, cash back, money orders, services, stamps, licenses, service plans, extended warranties, and online purchases.  Your purchase must be made using either cash, check, debit card, or credit card as payment method. Purchases of gift cards, or purchases made with gift cards, debit gift cards, store credit, food stamps, EBT debit, digital payment methods, layaway, or special order item(s) are invalid.  The retail brand/store/chain/savings location of your choice must be a store listed in our Approved Savings Locations page. If your receipts are not from the same retail brand/store/chain, your redemption for that month will be invalid and you will not qualify for your $25.00 gift card or optional reward upgrade (this means you cannot send in fifty dollars ($50.00) in receipts from Target and fifty dollars ($50.00) in receipts from Walmart.  In this example, it must be one hundred dollars ($100.00) in receipts from either Target or Walmart). If your receipts are not from an approved retail brand/store/chain/savings location, your redemption for that month will be invalid and you will not qualify for your $25.00 gift card, optional reward upgrade, or substitute reward. If your receipts are for excluded items, those items will be deducted from your total. If your receipts for qualified items do not equal one hundred dollars ($100.00) or more (before taxes and after coupons, discounts, and returns are applied), your redemption for that month will be invalid and will not qualify for your $25.00 gift card, optional reward upgrade, or substitute reward. Again, if your receipts are for purchases made with a gift card, your redemption for that month will be invalid and will not qualify for your $25.00 gift card, optional reward upgrade, or substitute reward.
 

10. Mailing in Materials. You must mail your receipts, collected from the same retail brand/store/chain/savings location, along with the corresponding monthly savings voucher provided for that month, to Retail Rebate Reward. If your receipts are not accompanied by the printed savings voucher for the month in which the purchases were made, your redemption for that month will be invalid and you will not qualify for your $25.00 gift card, optional reward upgrade, or substitute reward. If you fail to send in a monthly savings voucher, your redemption for that month will be invalid and you will not qualify for your $25.00 gift card, optional reward upgrade, or substitute reward. You cannot send in receipts with your original Retail Rebate Reward Certificate/Reward. If you send in receipts with your original Retail Rebate Reward Certificate/Reward, instead of the monthly savings voucher, your redemption for that month will be invalid and you will not qualify for your $25.00 gift card, optional reward upgrade, or substitute reward.
 

11. Original Receipts & Postmark Requirement . You must mail in your qualifying original receipts (receipts must include store of purchase, payment method(s), product(s) purchased, and date of purchase) along with your applicable savings voucher within the same month for which the receipts are dated, along with the voucher from that month. That means your receipts, your voucher, and your postmark must all be from the same month. Your materials must be postmarked in the same month as your receipts and voucher. For example, if you have collected $100.00 or more (before taxes and after coupons) in receipts from WalMart for April 2015, and are prepared to send in those original receipts, along with your April 2015 voucher to Retail Rebate Reward, your letter must be postmarked no later than April 30, 2015. If your receipts and voucher are postmarked after the last day of the month on the applicable savings voucher, your submission for that month will be invalid and you will not qualify for your $25.00 gift card, optional reward upgrade, or substitute reward. If your submission has no discernable or visible postmark, your submission for that month will be invalid and you will not quality for your $25.00 gift card, optional reward upgrade, or substitute reward.  Please note:  A postmark is an automated or manual stamp placed on the envelope by the post office.  Markings from private postage machines do not qualify as a postmark.  If your receipts are not original receipts, your redemption for that month will be invalid and you will not qualify for your $25.00 gift card, optional reward upgrade, or substitute reward.   If you would like us to return your original receipts after they have been reviewed and processed, please send Retail Rebate Reward a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your submission, along with a letter requesting return of your receipts. This letter and the self-addressed, stamped envelope must be sent with your receipts, not separately.
 

12. No Make Up Months. If you miss or skip a month, you may not make up that month at a later time. However, you are entitled to continue in the program and submit vouchers in later months. For example, if you received a $100 Retail Rebate Reward Certificate/Reward, and you have savings vouchers for April 2015, May 2015, June 2015, and July 2015, and you do not collect enough receipts in April 2015, you do not get an extra month to send in your receipts. You will have missed your April 2015 redemption. However, you would be able to send in new receipts and vouchers for the other remaining months for which you have savings vouchers, pursuant to the terms contained herein.

14. Postage and Delivery Confirmation Recommendation & Delivery Dispute Process. You must send your receipts and voucher in an envelope with the proper postage (stamp) affixed. Your materials must be postmarked within the same month as your receipts and the voucher you are sending in.  If your materials do not have a postmark, they will be invalid.  You must legibly address the envelope. Please include a contact telephone number. In the event that your handwriting is illegible and there is no contact telephone number, your redemption may be delayed or not processed entirely. If you fail to send your receipts and voucher in an envelope with the proper postage affixed, or with the address illegible, such that the postal service cannot deliver it to Retail Rebate Reward, your redemption for that month will be invalid and you will not qualify for your $25.00 gift card, optional reward upgrade, or substitute reward. Retail Rebate Reward recommends you retain gift receipts and make copies of your original receipts and monthly voucher. Retail Rebate Reward also strongly recommends that you send in send in your receipts and voucher to Retail Rebate Reward via certified mail or with another form of delivery confirmation. Retail Rebate Reward cannot answer specific customer inquiries as to whether customer submissions were received or not.  Should you claim to have sent in materials, and Retail Rebate Reward has no record of receipt of said materials, you have two options: (1) You can dispute Retail Rebate Reward's claim of non-receipt of your materials by submitting a request to Retail Rebate Reward Customer Support.  However, you agree that Retail Rebate Reward does not have to prove it did not receive your submission.  You have to prove Retail Rebate Reward received your submission. And you agree that the only way for you to conclusively demonstrate that you sent materials to Retail Rebate Reward is to provide Retail Rebate Reward with validation/verification of delivery (utilizing the delivery confirmation service that Retail Rebate Reward recommends).   If you do not have proof of delivery confirmation, you agree that Retail Rebate Reward's determination regarding the receipt of materials stands.  (Otherwise any person could claim to have sent in valid materials without any proof and demand gift cards); or (2) Retail Rebate Reward will issue you a replacement code that will entitle you to make up the month for which the receipt of materials is in dispute.
 

15. Lost or Undelivered or Stolen Mail. Retail Rebate Reward is not responsible for lost, undelivered, or stolen mail. If Retail Rebate Reward does not receive your receipts and so informs you, following your inquiry, you must reasonably demonstrate to Retail Rebate Reward, via proof of delivery confirmation,  that you did send in properly qualified receipts and their corresponding monthly voucher in a timely way.
 

16. Submission Review, Fulfillment, & Gift Card (or Substitute Reward) Timing. Retail Rebate Reward reviews submissions in the month following the month in which they were sent. For example, Retail Rebate Reward reviews April  vouchers and April receipts that were sent by customers in April ("Sent Month") during the next month ("Review Month"), in this case, the month of May.  During the Review Month, Retail Rebate Reward will evaluate your submission. Invalid submissions that do not follow the rules will not result in a gift card, optional reward upgrade, or substitute reward being sent. If your submission was invalid, Retail Rebate Reward will email you at the email address we have on record to inform you that your submission was invalid, including an explanation of the reason why it was invalid.  This email is typically sent on or before the fifteenth day of the month following the Review Month.  If your submission was valid, and followed the program rules, Retail Rebate Reward will send you an email at the address we have on record to inform you that your submission was valid, and directing you to the Retail Rebate Reward "Reward Selection" process, on the Retail Rebate Reward website.  This email is typically sent out on or before the fifteenth day of the month following the Review Month.  During that process, you will have the option to select among a number of reward options, including a variety of retailer-specific twenty five dollar ($25.00) electronic gift cards, a $25 payment via PayPal, and a number of optional reward upgrades.   You will be presented with all the reward options, including a description of each reward option, and a timeframe for redemption and fulfillment of each reward option.  IMPORTANT:  Additional steps are required for you to claim an earned gift card or optional reward upgradeYou must complete the Reward Selection process by selecting and confirming your choice of reward for each month for which you have a valid submission before a reward can be sent to you.  Some reward options will be available for immediate delivery.  Some reward options take from one (1) to six (6) weeks for fulfillment.  Please note:  There are circumstances where delivery of gift cards, optional reward upgrades, and/or substitute rewards are delayed.  You agree that, in such circumstances, Retail Rebate Reward shall have up to one hundred eighty (180) days to send your gift card, optional reward upgrade, and/or substitute reward.  Using our example, valid materials a customer sends to Retail Rebate Reward in April will be reviewed in May.  An email indicating the April submission was valid will be sent no later than the June 15th.  You then will be able to make your reward selection at that time, and the delivery timeframe for your reward will depend (1) on when you make your reward selection and (2) which reward you select.
 

17. Reward Fulfillment Dispute. Retail Rebate Reward fulfills earned gift cards and/or optional reward upgrades electronically.  Because gift card providers make available only what is called "top level" reporting, meaning they can tell us if a gift card was used, and when, but not by whom and for how much, Retail Rebate Reward is unable to associate specific gift card activity with a specific customer.  As such, if a Retail Rebate Reward participant tells us they have not received their gift card in the US Mail, or have not received it by email, or that the gift card they have received has already been used, our ability to validate and verify those statements is limited.  It is our goal to insure that a working gift card is timely delivered to every Retail Rebate Reward participant who qualifies, and we have taken steps to insure that is the case.  All electronic gift cards are sent with delivery confirmation.  Internal protections are in place to insure that duplicate gift cards are not sent to different customers.  Retail Rebate Reward has an escalation process whereby, if Retail Rebate Reward is notified by a customer of a possible issue, Retail Rebate Reward can check internal records, delivery confirmation records, and gift card use records from the provider.  As a result, to best protect the customer's interest in getting a working, timely delivered gift card, and to protect Retail Rebate Reward against fraud and abuse,  the policy of Retail Rebate Reward regarding gift card fulfillment, and disputes relating thereto is as follows:  For electronic gift cards or alternate upgraded rewards, if Retail Rebate Reward has electronic delivery confirmation  that shows that the gift card was successfully delivered to the email address on file for a customer, and the retailer shows the gift card as used after the date of electronic delivery, and Retail Rebate Reward has confirmed that the electronic gift card was sent only to the correct customer,  then that shall be deemed as a full and final delivery of the electronic gift card and Retail Rebate Reward shall have no further obligation or liability with respect to that electronic gift card, including in such cases as the Retail Rebate Reward participant claims they did not receive the electronic gift card, or could not use the electronic gift card.  All Retail Rebate Reward participants have the right to escalate an issue to Customer Support for review, but the provisions of this section shall govern any reward fulfillment disputes.
 

18. Accurate Information. You must provide true and valid information to us in order to redeem for the face amount or value of the Retail Rebate Reward Certificate/Reward. All duplicate Retail Rebate Reward Certificate/Reward vouchers, and PINs will be terminated.
 

19. Online Program Only. You understand that Retail Rebate Reward is an online program and only provides for online redemption and online customer service. Retail Rebate Reward does not offer telephone-based customer service.
 

20. Questions, Complaints, and Concerns. It is our goal to insure that your experience with your reward is successful and satisfying and we commit to doing everything we can to be helpful, responsive, timely, and professional in addressing any question, complaint, or concern you may have. On the Retail Rebate Reward website you have access to a variety of resources (terms, instructions, how to guides, welcome letter, frequently asked questions, etc.) to assist you. Additionally, our online Customer Support team is available to you at any time. We would simply ask that, if you have a question, complaint or concern, you please contact Retail Rebate Reward Customer Support first to give us the opportunity to be of assistance. We also ask that, if you choose to raise a question, complaint, or concern to any other individual, group, or organization, which is entirely your right as a customer, that you do your best to insure that the information you share regarding Retail Rebate Reward is complete and accurate.
 

21. Disclaimer. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL THE COMPANY, ADVERTISERS, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR COINCIDENTAL DAMAGES THAT RESULT FROM, OR ARISE OUT OF THE USE OF THE ABILITY OR INABILITY TO USE THIS VOUCHER OR OFFER RELATED TO THIS VOUCHER OR INABILITY TO USE PRODUCT RELATED TO THIS VOUCHER OR ANY SERVICES OR PRODUCTS RECEIVED THROUGH OUR COMPANY. THIS LIMITATION APPLIES WHETHER THE ALLEGED LIABILITY IS BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE OR STRICT LIABILITY OR ANY OTHER BASIS, EVEN IF THE COMPANY, ADVERTISERS AND/OR ITS LICENSORS, HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. BECAUSE SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR COINCIDENTAL DAMAGES, THE COMPANY, ADVERTISERS OR ITS RESPECTIVE LICENSOR LIABILITY IN SUCH JURISDICTION SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW OR BY YOUR JURISDICTION.
 

22. No Warranty. THIS SITE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITH NO WARRANTIES WHATSOEVER.  RETAIL REBATE REWARD MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WITH RESPECT TO USE OF THIS SITE OR ANY OF THE BENEFITS, PRODUCTS OR SERVICES OR RELATED INFORMATION PROVIDED TO YOU FROM RRR OR FROM OUR PARTICIPATING VENDORS. RETAIL REBATE REWARD DOES NOT WARRANT OR MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING THE USE OR THE RESULTS OF THE USE OF THE BENEFITS, PRODUCTS, SERVICES AND MATERIALS FROM THIS SITE OR THE PARTICIPATING VENDORS IN TERMS OF THEIR CORRECTNESS, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE. FURTHER, PLEASE NOTE THAT NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, OBTAINED BY YOU FROM THIS SITE OR OUR PARTICIPATING VENDORS SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY PROVIDED FOR IN THIS AGREEMENT.
 

23. Limitation on Liability. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL OUR LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED YOUR CURRENT OUTSTANDING AND EARNED MONTHLY REDEMPTION VOUCHER AMOUNT, AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, SHALL WE BE LIABLE TO YOU OR A THIRD PARTY FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, THIRD PARTY OR CONSEQUENTIAL, EVEN IF RRR WAS ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE FOREGOING LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. RETAIL REBATE REWARD DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTIES REGARDING THE SECURITY, RELIABILITY, TIMELINESS, AND PERFORMANCE OF THE SITE. RETAIL REBATE REWARD DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR THAT THE OPERATION OF THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED AND ERROR FREE. 24. Third Party Links. The Site may contain links to other web sites. Retail Rebate Reward does not control such other web sites and is not responsible or liable for the availability thereof or the products, services or other materials contained on such web sites. Retail Rebate Reward shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss incurred or suffered by any user in connection therewith. Your access and use of linked web sites, including the products, services and materials therein, is solely at your own risk.
 

25. Intellectual Property. You hereby agree and acknowledge that Retail Rebate Reward owns all right, title and interest in and to this Site, including, without limitation, all Intellectual Property Rights. "Intellectual Property Rights" means any and all rights under patent law, copyright law, trade secret law, trademark law, and any and all other proprietary rights. You acknowledge that all marks that appear throughout the Site belong to Retail Rebate Reward or the respective owners of such marks, and are protected by applicable trademark and copyright laws. Any use of any of the marks appearing throughout the Site without the express written consent of Retail Rebate Reward or the owner of the mark, as appropriate, is prohibited.
 

26. Governing Law. Governing law for these Terms shall be the law of the State of Delaware. The courts of the State of Connecticut, Fairfield County, shall have exclusive venue and jurisdiction over any claims brought under these Terms.
 

27. Modification of TermsIMPORTANT: Retail Rebate Reward reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to update or modify these Terms at any time, without individual notice to you, and advises you that regular edits are made to improve the performance of the program for customers. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of any changes to these Terms, and/or your continued transmission or receipts and vouchers to Retail Rebate Reward  following modification of these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes. You are advised to review these rules before each and every submission you make, to insure your submission is compliant.
 

28. Indemnification. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the company, its advertisers, licensors, subsidiaries and other affiliated companies, their employers, employees contractors, agents and directors from all liability, claims and expenses, including any attorney fees that may arise from the use of this voucher or related products. The company reserves the right at its own expense to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter, otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you shall cooperate with the company in asserting any available defenses.
 

29. Entire Agreement & Severability. You agree that these Terms constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and Retail Rebate Reward and that, should any of these terms be stricken or voided by any court, those terms shall be severable and the remaining terms shall remain in effect.
